Matthew Moyer started Force Multiplication to bring training and education to two separate populations. Those going into, or in, the tactical populations (police, fire, EMS, military) and those with disabilities related to those services.
Matthew has experience in both of these populations. His 6 years in the Marine Corps spanned three combat deployments before being injured in a non-combat accident in Afghanistan. He fell out of the back of 7 ton and herniated a disk in his C-spine which crushed his spinal cord. Matthew finished out the deployment and came home, had surgery and was medically separated.
Matthew moved to Arizona and got a job, but his injuries prevented him from continuing in normal work. The damage to his spinal cord impaired the use of this legs, losing fine motor skills in them. Ultimately, some Lumbar Spine issues led to loss of function from the waist down. After a few weeks in a wheel chair and months in a walker, Matthew was able to move around without help.
He soon found that physical fitness wasn’t just a hobby, but had a huge impact on mental health as well. Physical Therapy and the gym were what kept him going. Trying to move better led to more studying and become certified through the NSCA as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator.
Matthew brings his passion for fitness, both mental and physical to all of his clients, whether one on one or in group settings.
